Experience

Jennifer Kuenster is a partner in Nixon Peabody LLP’s Litigation Department and a member of the firm's Management Committee.  Ms. Kuenster's practice has an emphasis in torts and insurance litigation. She frequently represents contractors, product manufacturers, product distributors, and premises owners in asbestos litigation, and has significant experience in managing and coordinating discovery, experts, trial and local counsel in jurisdictions throughout the U.S. For example, Jennifer has served as the lead attorney responsible for national coordination for a client with 30,000 asbestos claims pending in over 15 jurisdictions; regional counsel and trial counsel for an asbestos product manufacturer with over 100,000 asbestos claims; and California asbestos counsel for product manufacturers, premises owners, and contractor defendants. She also has significant experience in handling related insurance coverage disputes, including jury trial and appellate experience in product liability, insurance coverage, and employment matters.

Jennifer has been recognized as a "Super Lawyer" by the publishers of the Northern California Super Lawyers magazine for 2009. Inclusion in Super Lawyers is based on a peer-review survey.
